Hello.

I'm Blake Esselstyn, and this is pretty much the extent of my web presence at the moment. There used to be a résumé site here promoting my GIS and Web development skills, but I figured it was time to update it—in other words, take most of it down.

I took a job in late 2004 working as an urban planner for the City of Asheville. Cindy and I more or less eloped a couple months later, and we've been loving life, working on our house, hanging out with our dog (see photo), and generally trying to savor each moment.
